The Beginning
Paul B. Biro opens a food processing equipment distributor in Cleveland, Ohio.
Second Generation
Paul’s son, Paul E. Biro, entered the business after graduating from John Carroll University and helped expand the company’s reach throughout Northeast Ohio.
Expanding Into Labels
Paul expanded the supply side of the business through the sale of saw blades and labels — laying the foundation for what would become the Biro Labels division.
In-House Manufacturing
Biro Labels begins process of manufacturing thermal labels in-house.
Third Generation
Paul’s sons took over the business under the leadership of David Sr., Mark, Matt, and Paul T. Biro, continuing the family tradition of service and quality.
Fourth Generation
Eric and David Biro, along with Ryan Holliday, took the helm, bringing in a lean culture, years of prior leadership and operations experience, and a new wave of business acumen. Their vision: to become America’s premium choice for labels in the food space.
